Controller-led FP&A that gives you rolling cash flow forecasts, scenario-driven models, and investor-ready materials so you make decisions with clarity, not guesswork.
Finance leaders at 200+ companies have hired through CoCountant

Most growing companies have clean books but no forward visibility. Board decks use stale data, fundraising models get rushed before investor calls, and major decisions on hiring, spend, and expansion end up driven by gut. The gap isn’t your accounting; it’s the layer above it: the forecasts, variance analysis, and cash flow projections that show what happens next.
That’s what FP&A delivers: an FP&A professional updating your models monthly and explaining every variance, not a dashboard or a template.
Three tiers of controller-led FP&A, each designed around a specific stage of growth and decision-making complexity.
All packages include a flat monthly fee. No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. Your data stays in your tools.

Every FP&A deliverable is built by your dedicated controller pod and reviewed before it reaches you.
Your controller reviews your current financials, builds driver assumptions, and establishes your 13-week rolling cash flow and forecast baseline.
Each month your pod updates forecasts, runs scenarios, and flags variances early. You get the narrative, not just the numbers.
Board packages, investor models, fundraising materials, and ad‑hoc analysis delivered on your timeline with controller sign‑off.
Typical onboarding to first deliverable: 2 to 4 weeks
Investors don’t just want clean books; they want a narrative that shows where unit economics are heading, how runway shifts across scenarios, and whether the model holds up. CoCountant’s FP&A delivers investor‑grade materials built by experts who know GAAP, ASC 606, and what VCs expect in a data room.
Typical time to audit-ready financials
Base, Stretch, and Downturn in every forecast
Overdue AR recovered for one client

When you’re handling multi‑entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, or PE‑level reporting, a basic forecast isn’t enough. You need FP&A that matches your complexity without adding headcount. CoCountant delivers rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and board‑ready packages built by a controller pod experienced in complex accounting.
Already on Command?
If you’re a Command client, you already have 13-week cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial forecasts. Ready for scenario planning, cohort analysis, or fundraising support? Upgrade to Insight or Complete.
No. FP&A Pulse, Insight, and Complete are available as standalone add-ons for any business. That said, clients on our Command accounting plan get FP&A Pulse included at no additional cost, and our FP&A services work most effectively when paired with our controller-led bookkeeping because your data is already clean and current.
Two things. First, every model is built and maintained by a controller, not a template. Your assumptions, drivers, and scenarios are specific to your business. Second, your controller updates these models monthly and provides narrative context on variances, so you get the “why” alongside the numbers.
Typical onboarding takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of your financials and the package you choose. For fundraising timelines, we offer an expedited onboarding track that can deliver audit-ready financials within 30 days.
Yes. On FP&A Insight and Complete, your dedicated controller is available to join investor calls, walk through models with your board, and answer technical finance questions during due diligence.
We work inside QuickBooks and the tools you already use. Your data stays in your systems. We build financial models in formats you can access, share, and present without needing proprietary software.
Yes. Tax consulting with CPA guidance is available at $150/hr. This covers guidance on tax planning strategy, entity structure options, and filing considerations. You retain all decision-making authority. Note that CoCountant does not provide legal, regulatory, or ongoing tax advisory services. For complex planning scenarios, we may recommend working with a tax attorney alongside our team.
If you’re on our Command accounting plan, Pulse is already part of your service. Your controller pod delivers 13-week cash flow forecasts, budgeting, and financial forecasting as part of your monthly engagement. If you need scenario planning, cohort analysis, or fundraising support, you can upgrade to Insight or Complete.
Our managed accounting plans (Launch, Scale, Command) handle your bookkeeping, close, and compliance. FP&A is the strategic layer on top: forecasting, scenario planning, and financial modeling. They work best together, but you can add FP&A independently. Compare accounting plans →
